Failed State is an asynchronous survival strategy game played on real-world maps. Every world is built from a real city — you can settle in your own hometown, on the actual streets and buildings around you — and fight to hold on after an alien collapse.

It plays asynchronously: the world keeps running on server time whether you are online or not. Give your orders, then return later to a settlement that has produced, traded, and defended itself in your absence.

Claim genuine locations from OpenStreetMap and turn them into outposts, farms, and workshops

• Run production chains — water, food, farming, fishing, foraging, medicine

Recruit survivors with classes, talents, and relationships that unfold on their own

• Climb a deep research tree, open businesses, and trade on a shared player market

• Fend off alien hives, hidden stalkers, and gunships; hunt the roaming Mother Hive

• Shared worlds — meet neighbors, forge diplomacy, or fight for territory

Free to play. No download. Runs in any browser, desktop or mobile.
